Acceptance
By downloading or using imascot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
- imascot provides tools to create procedural mascots, preview gestures, and export animations (Lottie, PNG, GIF, SVG).
- Your designs are stored on our servers so you can access them from your devices using an anonymous account.
- Because mascots are procedurally generated from a seed and parameters, visually similar mascots may be created by other users. Your license covers your exported files, not exclusive ownership of the underlying algorithm.
Free tier
- Up to 3 active mascots.
- Access to basic gestures (idle, blink, happy, sad).
- PNG exports include a small
iMascot watermark.
- Personal, non-commercial use only. You may not use Free-tier exports in paid products, client work, or advertising without upgrading to Pro.
Pro subscription & lifetime
- Pro is available as weekly, monthly, yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase, processed by Apple.
- While Pro is active (or after lifetime purchase), you receive unlimited mascots, all gestures, and exports without watermark.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Refunds follow Apple's rules.
Commercial asset license (Pro only)
If you have an active Pro subscription or lifetime purchase, Xultrai grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use exported mascot assets you create (PNG, GIF, SVG, Lottie JSON) in commercial projects, including:
- Mobile apps, websites, and software products (including App Store and Google Play releases).
- Marketing materials, social media, presentations, and advertising.
- Physical merchandise (stickers, prints, apparel) featuring your exported mascot.
- Client work and commissioned projects, provided the end deliverable is the exported asset — not access to imascot itself.
Restrictions (all tiers)
- You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense exported files as standalone stock art packs, icon sets, or NFT collections.
- You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or recreate the imascot parametric engine, gesture system, or server rendering pipeline.
- You may not use the "imascot" name or Xultrai branding to imply official partnership or endorsement without written permission.
- You may not use exported mascots for unlawful, hateful, or deceptive content.
- If your Pro subscription expires, you may continue using assets exported while Pro was active, but new exports revert to Free-tier limits and watermarks.
Intellectual property
imascot, its parametric system, gesture catalog, rendering engine, and branding remain the property of Xultrai. These Terms grant you a license to use exported outputs — not ownership of the software or underlying technology.
Lawful use
You must comply with applicable laws and Apple's App Store terms. Do not use the app to generate content that violates third-party rights.
Disclaimer
The app and exported assets are provided "as is" without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xultrai is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.
